White Ribbon Campaign UK – http://www.whiteribboncampaign.co.uk/
The White Ribbon Campaign is the largest global effort to end violence against women and girls. Nationally the White Ribbon Campaign aims to educate and raise awareness of violence against women, and to engage more men in these issues.
Wearing a White Ribbon is a personal Pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.
Each year we urge as many people as possible to wear a white ribbon for one week, starting on 25th November, which is the International Day for the Eradication of Violence Against Women.
This year we are celebrating this event on Wednesday 22nd November 2017 with a performance at Brent Civic Centre, Conference Hall and a number of activities across the borough. We will also be signing the pledge at 11.30am in the front foyer.
