Volunteering for Brent Mencap

We are currently looking for volunteers in various areas.

Becoming a Trustee for Brent Mencap?

We are always looking to recruit new members for our Executive Committee.

Our volunteer trustees/directors are responsible for overseeing how Brent Mencap is run and how it is developing. To ensure our board is as diverse as possible, we need more young people (under 50), more men, more gay and lesbian or transgendered people and more people from black and minority ethnic groups to join our board.

We need people with human resources, property management, financial and legal experience and skills, as well as people with personal experience of disability or caring.

We are always keen to hear from professionals who have worked in Brent.

Trustees need to be able to give about 3 to 4 hours a month to attend meetings, training or activities often in the evening.

If you would like to discuss becoming a trustee, please contact our Chairperson, Noel Gibbs through the office by emailing ann@brentmencap.org.uk or phoning us on 020 8451 5278.
