Free upcoming music sessions in Brent for disabled adults and adults with mental health challenges. The next date is Monday 18th March and will be taking place at The Yellow, 1 Humphry Repton Ln, Wembley Park, Wembley HA9 0GL.

Please see below for more information about these sessions.

Brent Music for Mental Health Sessions – Monday 18th March

Afternoon sessions: 1.00 – 1.45pm & 2.00 – 2.45pm

These sessions are open to disabled adults and their family members / carers. Within the sessions we explore music together with musicians from Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a workshop leader. This involves getting creative, having a go at new things and hopefully having fun! Sessions are set up for around 10 people + carers to take part in.

Evening sessions: 4.00 – 5.15pm & 5.30 – 6.45pm

These sessions are open to any adult who is experiencing mental health challenges. We explore music together along with musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a workshop leader. We might write a new song together based on different themes we like, try new instruments and get creative together. Each session will be for around 10 – 20 adults. Typically, the 4.00pm session is a bit louder and the 5.30pm session takes a more gentle and quiet approach, so it might be worth considering which setting will suit you best. If there is space, sometimes people can stay for the second session after the first – but we have to give first priority to those who have signed up for the specific session.

What does it offer?

The directory is comprehensive, listing the mental health services that meet different levels of need from low level worries and anxiety to crisis.  The services are categorised by age group, from children through to older aged people and includes the range of access points including on the phone, face to face and online for each service.

Who is it for?
