Health Educator Service Manager
£30,000 pro-rata 21hours per week, Flexible working hours required
You will manage the co-ordination of Health Educators working across Brent to reduce health inequalities. You will be required to manage, inspire, be solution focussed and target driven as the line manager to a team of professionals working in the community.
You will collate data and information required to produce regular monitoring reports, on KPI’s, Peer Support, Digital Inclusion Groups and one to one Case Study outcomes.
Your role will be the key link, supporting a collaborative working approach in delivering Brent’s Health Educator Partnership Service, managing Health Educators and liaising with Public Health and the Brent Health Matters Team.

£13.15ph
Fixed term contract for up to 13 hours per week Flexible working hours required
Health Educators will work to promote, maintain and improve individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to access health and support and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
We are looking for people who have good links and knowledge within the local community and will talk to other people about important and sensitive health issues like Covid testing , vaccines and diabetes to prevent them getting ill now or in the future. All Health Educators will be trained and supported to understand and explain information; answer queries on health topics and learn how to competently challenge wrong information.
You should have local knowledge of the area you wish to work in and be willing to learn about health inequalities and its impact on local communities. We will upskill and develop individuals on delivering presentations to a diverse audience; You should possess the ability to network and we will support you to manage the varying views and opinions of different people. We are looking for creative and innovative individuals with the ability to also maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
This is not a 9 – 5pm. You will be required to work out of hours and work flexibly.

You should be personable and be able to coach, influence and inspire people to make positive changes in their lifestyle, live well longer.
The role is integral to reducing health inequalities and proactively working to reach people from all communities.
Good recording keeping, and measuring outcomes achieved is also an important aspect of this role.
