Flower Friends is back, growing and giving flowers to bring floral love to the elderly and vulnerable in our local community.
What a spring for blossom! Absolutely beautiful!! It’s wonderful to have started the season in a cloud of camellia and cherry and lilac and now the cow parsley and apple blossom are through. Blooming bliss!

Annual Health Check for adults with intellectual disability has brought a number of health benefits to this population. While this study did not show that the introduction of these checks had any impact on either emergency or elective admissions, there was evidence to suggest that they reduced emergency admissions due to ambulatory care sensitive conditions – conditions where effective community care and case management may help prevent the need for hospital admission
